Price to Have Kithcen Cabenits Painted

Our System Starts With Your Comfort In Mind Our main goal is to get your kitchen back to you as soon as possible. We focus heavily on the boxes initially, usually we are able to remove all the masking on day 3, making your kitchen available until day 6 , when we re -install cabinet doors. We can perfo rm work on your cabinet doors in 1 of 3 ways: 1. Take them to our shop and transport them to your house 1 full day AFTER they are completed. 2. Work on them at your residence – this entails creating a spray booth , either in your garage or basement, or another area of your choosing. 3. We can work on the doors in our trailer all the up until the topcoat, when we would then transfer them into a bigger area , where a spray booth can be built somewhere in your residence. This is because we need space to create negative airflow and a place for finished cabinets to dry while not being too close to the spray area. Remove Cabinet Doors The best way to paint kitchen cabinets, is by removing the doors. We save time and effort by just doing it right from the start. Every time we remove a door, we mark it and where it goes with small round stickers. This way every door ends up in the same spot when we put them back , this makes everything a lot smoother in the end. Clean Cabinets with Soapy Water Once we have removed and marked the doors/drawers, we clean each one in a mixture of Dawn dish soap and water. This makes sure that there is no grease or oily substances on the surfaces when we sand. Those substances, when left behind, can easily become sanded into the wood. That is a guarantee that our primer and topcoat will not bond properly, causing embarrassing problems in the future;) Sanding Cabinets When we are sure that everything is clean, we begin the sanding process. Each door, drawer and cabinet box are sanded thoroughly with 100-120 grit sandpaper. We use 3×4 palm sanders, making sure that we scuff up all the surface area, making it ready for Primer. Priming Cabinets Before we prime/paint, we must mask off the insides of the cabinet boxes. Many companies use paper or plastic, we however use ‘Rhino Lining’, it’s a thin cardboard, usually used to protect floors when things’ like, new cabinet installations, building a new island and more intense projects are It ensures that there will be no ripping or tearing. Priming is done 2 times, by way of spraying. We use airless sprayers, with fine, low-pressure tips. This helps us keep the speed of an airless, with the control and accuracy of a hplv rig. We use Extreme Bond Primer by Sherwin Williams. It dries faster and harder than any other primer. Topcoat After priming, all cabinet surfaces are sanded, starting with 120, moving to 150 and finally ending on 220 grit sandpaper. For our topcoat application, we spray our doors laying down. This is the best way to let the Liberty Painting paint ‘settle’ on the surface. That is part of the reason why we have one of the best finishes around. During topcoat, we sand between each coat with 220 grit sandpaper. We use (314)359-2169 Emerald Urethane Trim paint by Sherwin William’s. We feel that this product admin@libertypaintingstlouis.comleaves the best possible finish, while protecting the cabinet for years to come. This finish will last for 10 years, easy. You can scrub this finish as much as you like, without hesitation.
